Our Learning from October 2012

We have been focusing on TAPP when as we continue our writing journey.

A beautiful display of our Colorado Maps, just like our beautiful state! We featured our salt dough maps and supported the display with an expository writing piece.

Our Learning from November 2012


Our voting booth for the 2012 Presidential Election. We use ballots that mirrored what a real ballot might look like. We had 4 elected candidates and our class winner was President Obama. It was a close race, as he won with 14 votes and Romney had 13! 2 of our votes were a miss count as 2 voters though they could vote for 2 separate parties!

Our Learning from September 2012

It is important to understand the purpose of our reading and to understand why we as readers  from a variety of different material.
